Dual-flow cylinder dryer, the combination of rotary dryer and fluidized bed dryer, changes the disadvantages of former cylinder dryers such as small contact area and low drying efficiency. The dual-flow cylinder developed by WAN TAI makes full use of the principle of fluidized drying and make the direction of hot air perpendicular to the direction of material operation. On the one hand, it greatly increases the contact area between hot air and materials, and on the other hand, it improves the drying efficiency greatly.
The equipment is composed of cylinder, hot air circulation system, closed box, transmission system, dust removal system, powder discharge system and control system. When drying, the material is added from the feed port, rotates on the bed layer under the rotary motion and turnover of shoveling plate, and move toward the outlet end. The hot air penetrates through the material layer from the small holes in the cylinder wall and the shoveling plate and fully contacted with the hot air at an angle of 90° during movement for heat and mass transfer, dehydration and drying.

There are many small holes in the cylinder wall and the shoveling plate. During drying, the hot air penetrates through the small holes and the materials, realizes better fluidization during cylinder rotation and increases the heat transfer area. The heat loss of the exhaust gas is much less than that of the general convection dryer, and the thermal efficiency can reach 75%, further improving the drying speed.
